Despite some challenges at check-in, I had a pleasant stay at Apa Hotel Asakusa Tawaramachi Ekimae. The room surprised me with its spacious design for a compact hotel. The staff remained kind, and the location next to Tawaramachi station added convenience. A delightful experience overall!

The hotel had a fantastic location, just a short walk from Asakusa and Ueno. However, the room was incredibly tiny with minimal storage for luggage, and the air-conditioning didn’t cool properly. Despite these challenges, the staff was friendly and the onsen provided a great way to unwind.

The location makes it easy to access various subway stations, and the staff are genuinely helpful. Public baths are available, with real-time information displayed on the TV about occupancy and temperature, enhancing convenience. However, the double room felt cramped, especially when packing for departure with large luggage, needing my partner to step into the bathroom for space. Although I couldn't use the sauna due to tattoos, the authentic Italian pizza available nearby was a delightful find.

Room sizes are impractically small, especially for two people and luggage!!! A clearer luggage storage option is necessary, along with a more thoughtful room layout to enhance space utility!!!

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right near Tawaramachi station. It’s an easy walk to Sensoji Temple and other attractions in Asakusa. The room was clean and fairly comfortable, which is good for a solo traveler like me. I appreciated the fresh yukata and towels provided daily. The check-in and check-out process was smooth too. However, I found the room size somewhat cramped, especially for luggage. I felt a little cramped at times, and I missed having storage space underneath the bed. Limited housekeeping for short stays was a downside too. having to manage without daily cleaning made it feel less homey. Overall, a solid choice for a short visit but could use more room for comfort.

We had a nice stay and really appreciated the comfy double bed and the clean bathroom that got cleaned daily. The open-air bath and the relaxing public bath were perfect for unwinding after a long day. 😊

I loved the cozy twin room I stayed in. it felt like a welcoming little sanctuary! The onsen was my favorite part, where I relaxed every evening after a day of exploring. Plus, the unbeatable location made it super easy to access all the must-see spots!

Perfect location for exploring!

This place was awesome! Super convenient right at the metro line, made getting to Shinjuku a breeze. The little onsen was perfect for relaxing after long days. Breakfast was a hit too. Just a heads up, the internet was pretty spotty in the evenings, so plan accordingly.

I absolutely loved the public bath on the top floor—it was such a relaxing experience! 🛁 The room was cozy but a bit small for my bags. Great location too!

It was just an appropriate option for a short layover in Tokyo with definitely value for money. The onsen was a nice touch after long days exploring. Be ready for tightly packed rooms if traveling with lots of baggage.

I had a great time at this hotel, especially enjoying the relaxing public bath and the thoughtful amenities like the room TV’s mirror function. Breakfast was very convenient too!
